Sonya was called to the Bar in 2005 having obtained a BCL Law Degree with Euro Legal Studies from University College Dublin in 2002.
She is a member of the the Family Lawyers Association and is co-author of 'Pensions and Pension Adjustment Orders: a handbook for the Family Law practitioner' (Bloomsbury 2013).
Sonya's expertise in Pensions was highlighted when she was invited to provide pensions training to the staff of the Legal Aid Board.
Sonja maintains a General Civil Practice with special interest in large scale Discovery Reviews, all aspects of Family Law and Pensions.
